Lucien Turner is an actor who has resided in Beverly Shores for 10 years. He is best known for his roles as Jack Reynolds in A-List Agency and Damon Archer in the Lethal Charm trilogy. He is portrayed by Jonathan Bailey.
Lucien Turner was always destined to be famous. Or at least, that was what his mother told him as she dragged him from casting call to casting call. His parents, both failed actors, were clearly trying to live vicariously through their children through pre-determined career paths. Adelaide, the elder of Lucien’s younger sisters was designated the singer of the family and had been placed in voice lessons as soon as she was able. Willow, the youngest of the siblings, was the dancer - she grew up being forced into ballet lessons. Lucien had been given the path of the actor in the family. There was only one thing standing in his way - his stutter. He wanted to give up but his mother was adamant, insisting that his speech would improve with age. When waiting didn’t achieve the results she desired, she placed him in speech therapy, saying it was for the good of his career. He eventually outgrew his stutter but the damage done to the relationship he had with his mother was seemingly irreparable.
There was some reward to the suffering. When he was 10, he booked his first TV show and his fame has been rising ever since. As much as he resented it in the beginning, he grew to love acting and it eventually became his passion. After starring in a few TV shows and movies in the UK, he made the decision to move to America as a young adult, feeling the pull toward Hollywood. He lived in Los Angeles for a few years before relocating to Beverly Shores once his American career began to pick up more traction. He was praised for both his on-and-off screen chemistry with his co-stars and while it was common for this chemistry to result in relationship rumours, one such connection leading to more than just rumours and Lucien fathering a pair of twins.
Lucien is a calm individual. He rarely gets angry and when he does, he expresses it through his tone more than his volume. Due his struggle with his speech impediment in his youth, he can be hard on himself when he’s learning his lines or when he has to speak in public. While he values his time to himself, at events, he always ensures that he appears approachable and willing to converse with just about anyone. He will always greet people with a smile, even if they are complete strangers. He can be indecisive at times and hates being ambushed with choices, preferring to have a day or two make a decision about something. He prides himself in being there for his friends and family, though it can sometimes come at his own expense because he’ll start to prioritize the needs of others over his own.
