Dave De Haas is a former soccer player who played for the New York Red Bulls and won a couple of awards for his playing. He entered retirement at 33 years old and decided to try his luck with acting. He was known as the handsomest Red Bull player and because of this he decided to use his good looks, charming personality and physique to his advantage in movies.
Dave has been born and raised in Nebraska to a family who already had one son, the only exception was that his mom was under the impression that she had a killer body and that she could've become something had she not had Dave who was huge and ruined her body. That's why she favored his brothers and not him growing up, and that bothered Dave. He wanted some attention from his mom so he used his size to his advantage and he started playing soccer. He realized playing sports was easy for him because of his body type, so he continued doing sports on his own accord, not to get attention from his mother by getting a trophy or two ... Although when she was proud of him and of his achievements she did bake him cookies so that was one thing he also did it for. He grew up playing sports and winning championships and awards, and being his father's pride and joy. When he was in his last year of high school, he almost fumbled the scholarship because he got too cocky and didn't study enough to get a D, but he managed to get back to a C+ by the end of the year and managed to get scouted and got a scholarship for Michigan State for his soccer playing. He dropped out of college to become a professional soccer player and he's being playing for the New York Red Bulls as their star player. However, he is now 33, almost near the age when soccer players can't play as well anymore and can't hold up to the young athletes, so like many at this age, he retired. Now, he might not be able to play soccer or any sport as well as he did until now, but he's still one of the handsomest Red Bulls and he's still able to get a mean six pack, plus he's really tall, so naturally the next step in his career is making raunchy, cheap rom coms and holiday movies where he's shirtless for half of the movie for no reason but to get those cinema seats wet. He's a dimwitt and his looks are the only thing keeping him famous, but he's always been passionate yet gentle, hardworking but will make time for his friends and family, he's confident but not arrogant and sometimes even humble. He knows he's not a very good actor, and he actively tries to change that fact. He's not ashamed of his roots, but he thinks he's unfit to do anything but make low quality movies. He's impulsive and argumentative, a bit immature and could easily get addicted. He is also adventurous and wants to try out as many things in his life as he can, including cultures, foods, experiences and positions (not talking strictly about soccer positions).
