Alexandra Pat Sinnott (also known as 'Patricia Devore') is an actress who has been at Beverly Shores for 6 years. She is known for her roles in 'Don't Say Die' and 'Suckers'. She is portrayed by Reece Witherspoon.
Patricia is not inherently ashamed as to where she came from—well, not until recently, but she came from an ancestry of actors of the Sinnott's. Even from her stage name, she chose a surname from her mother's side whose background has been stated to be of a humble background. Whatever her background may be, she was born the youngest of her siblings and experienced some mild turbulence growing up with stories of her late mother and the striking resemblance that grew guilt and resentment from her and the family she grew up in. All resentments would be bound up, however, when a 6-year-old Patricia would be cast in the A-list movie "My Final Requiem," a moving story of a working family suffering from a loaning company's corruption. In her first role, she observed the reserved yet disturbed character of Tina to the point of viewers worrying about the state of her position and assuming that she was being mistreated on set. Critics acclaimed her knack for acting, quoting notable performances from her grandparents’ award-worthy pictures. In that short moment in time, she would be known as Alexa Sinnott of the Sinnott's legacy, shifting her sheltered life into a life of glitz and glamor.
Growing up within the camera's attention, she became known as America's Sweetheart in 1993 as a character in the popular TV show “Don’t Say Die," a soap opera in which she played the innocent Caroline Hopps. Showcasing her acting chops, she made the sweet and innocent character into a complex character riddled with the realities of poverty and solitude and became a staple in the show until its last season in 1995. Her clean persona would soon change in 1997 with a role along with other rising teenage stars in the grungy and grimy film "Suckers," showcasing a rebellious, foul-mouthed attitude and typical cynicism from 90s media. Critics were shocked at the change of tone, staining her career to the point of not being invited to any acclaimed shows other than teen awards. Even worse was her change in stage name from Alexa Sinnott to Patricia Devore, alongside photos of her in clubs and daring magazines shown to the public, ultimately being told to be the one who’ll destroy the Sinnott legacy. Despite cold opinions, she expressed freedom and joy in picking up new opportunities she never would’ve gotten had she been “the nice girl." It was in the 2000s, however, when she experienced her greatest comeback when she played glamorous and raunchy women in rom-coms and TV shows. This skyrocket of fame pushed her into bigger opportunities alongside switching to happy-go-lucky movies and "serious" films without repercussions. Her usual roles did reflect her off-camera persona, for which she has been known as a bit of a diva who has a knack for stirring drama. Her petty squabbles, articles on her difficulty, and co-star rivalry would be both her advantage and a curse to her career. Like a flash of light, her popularity would soon diminish, with her most recent film being in 2019. Box-office booms and being a modern household name were a thing of the past, with her recent gigs being on reality shows and films direct to scheduled TV networks. An opportunity did meet her, as a film and TV show appeared to star her in a major role that could make or break her comeback career. As of now, she is all appearances and would never let her guard down—not even a fray in her hair.
