Aisling Jang-Doyle is a manager residing in Beverly Shores. Notable clients include Callan Prescott, Lacey Brightly, and Evangeline Astor. She is portrayed by Sarah Rafferty.
Aisling was born and raised in Galway, Ireland. She and each of her siblings were placed in Irish dance lessons as soon as they were able. Sean and Oisín didn’t stay in it for very long, dropping it in favour of other hobbies, but Aisling devoted herself to it. She trained and competed for her entire childhood, travelling all over the world. She competed at the world level several times, but always stopped short of winning. Her dance career ended when she was 19 after she suffered an injury which lead to her never being able to dance at the same level again. Caring too much about her reputation, she decided to move past dancing. At that point, she decided to go to university to study entertainment law, following in her father’s footsteps while pursuing a personal interest. Instead of staying in Ireland, she decided to study in Los Angeles, moving to the US with her older brother.
While she was in law school, she met a girl who was doing her masters. They ended up sitting together at the library one time and immediately hit it off. They went on a few dates after that and the girl, Robin, would eventually end up becoming her wife. They got married after Robin finished her PhD. At that point, Aisling had already been working for a few years but not in the career she had thought she would be. After she graduated from law school, she came to the decision that she didn’t actually want to be a practicing lawyer and instead wanted to take what she had learned and apply to a career in managing celebrities. It took her awhile to build her clientele but eventually, she made a name for herself and couldn’t imagine herself doing anything else. In that time, she and Robin also welcomed three children and Aisling now feels as if her life is complete.
As the daughter of a lawyer and a news anchor, Aisling knew from a very young age the power her words could have. She also learned the importance of having confidence in her words and herself, something which she has carried with her into her adult life. She makes sure every aspect of her life is organized down to the smallest detail, which came in handy when raising three kids. She is very loyal and will go to hell and back for the people she cares about, whether that’s her family, friends, or clients. Sometimes the affection she feels for the people she’s close to can make her come off as little intense but it’s usually with the best of intentions. However, when her intensity combines with her stubbornness, it often results in her not knowing when to let an argument go but her sensitivity often means that she can’t stay upset with anyone for too long, no matter how much she may want to prove her point.
